A new era in Catholic secondary education in Melton has begun.
Our Cobblebank Campus opened in 2023 and has more than 800 students in Years 7 -10 in 2026. The campus, in Bridge Rd, Cobblebank will grow to accommodate up to 1500 Year 7-12 students by 2028.
Drawing on the rich history and strong foundations established at the college's Melton Campus, Cobblebank offers new facilities and educational opportunities in one of Australia's fastest-growing corridors, located in Melbourne’s west.
Our College is recognised for its focus on faith, wellbeing and inclusive learning pathways – all of which are offered to a new generation of St Francis Catholic College students at Cobblebank Campus.
The Assisi Building (yellow building), provides generous classrooms and breakout zones over two levels with varied seating for collaborative learning. Administration offices, staff room, and teacher work areas are also accommodated. This is also currently home to our resource centre.
Each level in Assisi includes 1500 square metres of floor space with flexible, light-filled, co-joined rooms that can be opened to create larger areas.
Our specialist facilities are housed in the Greccio Building (red building) with music and drama rooms on the ground floor and science and art facilities on the first floor.
A key design feature of the new College is a landscaped cloister that forms the heart of the school. Surrounded by buildings and pathways, the area provides shelter from the elements and a place for students and staff to meet, talk, learn and gather.
A landscaped walking path around the College grounds also provides students and staff with easy access to all areas of the site.
The ground floor of the San Damiano Creativity Hub (blue building) provides Food Technology and Materials Technology (wood and metal) facilities, including a hospitality kitchen and dining area.
On level 2, there are spaces for Art, Visual Communication and Design, robotics, STEM and general project-based learning.
Our sports facilities include a synthetic-grass oval with a cricket pitch, basketball courts, and a soccer pitch.

Our soon-to-be-completed La Verna Building (orange building) will cater for our senior students, and next to it, we have begun construction of our Student Resources Hub, which will become the permanent home of our library, IT and Careers teams, and Student Wellbeing Practitioners.
Planning is also underway for our Gubbio Building, which will cater for VCE VM applied learning and VET classes and provide additional specialist science labs.
