SACCSS Athletics Championships

Congratulations to all students from Melton and Cobblebank who competed in the SACCSS Athletics Championships on Monday 31 August.

We had some outstanding results on the day including the following overall champions:

Senior Team Champions - Melton

Boys 17-20 Age Champion – Caleb, Year 11, Melton

Girls 16 Year Age Champion – Nyalang, Year 10, Melton

Boys 13 Year Age Champion – Israel, Year 7, Cobblebank

Congratulations also to Year 12 Melton student Nyandeng, who broke two SACCSS records:

• Girls 17-20 Triple Jump, 11.53m (previously 11:14 in 2018)
• Girls 17-20 400m, 1:00.17 (previously 1:01.00 in 1994)

Thank you to all the students who participated. We thank our Year 12s for their attendance and look forward to seeing the rest of you back next year!
