Year 12 Ancient History Excursion

Year 12 Melton Campus students studying Ancient History stepped back into the world of the Peloponnesian War last Friday during a visit to the Hellenic Museum in Melbourne.

They handled ancient coins from Athens and Sparta and spoke about their patron deities and how they related to the different strategic outlooks of the ancient Greek polis. 

Students looked at reasons why Sparta won the war while discussing artifacts in the museum.
